Close Quarters Group
“Precision Insight for the Warrior Mind”
ABOUT
David Campisano is the founder of 22Mohawks, a mission-driven nonprofit focused on preventing veteran and first responder suicide through innovative, upstream programs such as companion dog pairings and therapeutic airborne retreats. He also serves as CEO of X35 Airborne School, a veteran-operated organization that uses parachuting as a tool to build resilience, confidence, and post-service reintegration.
Drawing on years of leadership and lived experience, David launched Close Quarters Group to share unfiltered perspectives from veterans and first responders. His writing examines brain health, moral injury, allostatic load, human performance, medication use, and the enduring stigma surrounding mental health, giving voice to the invisible weight carried by those who serve.
